In this time of social-distancing, quarantines and many public places being closed (including our beloved gyms), it's important to find creative new ways to stay in shape while so many of us are confined to our homes. This will not only help us stay in shape physically, but it will help us stay centered in the midst of coronavirus uncertainty and possibly a bit too much family togetherness.

Here are several resources you can use for your at-home workouts. Done regularly, these easy indoor exercises are bound to increase your heart rate and tone those muscles in no time.

1. Workouts you can do with your kids

If you're looking for fun things to do as a family during this time, why not have your kids take part in your quarantine workout routine? Here's a workout from Qalo that'll be sure to have you all sweating in no time.

 

2. Head-to-toe toning exercises

I don't know about you, but I like my workouts to get right to the point. Give me an exercise for each part of my body that doesn't take a bunch of extra equipment and let's get to it. Here's a great resource from Healthline that'll walk you through 10 exercises to tone every inch of your body.

 

3. 20-minute Bodyweight Workout

Don't have a set of free weights lying around? That's fine! Your bodyweight is all you really need for an effective at-home workout. Check out this workout routine from Nerd Fitness to get your 20 minutes of sweating in today.

 

4. YouTube is a one-stop-shop for at home workouts

Check out the Madfit Youtube channel for equipment free workout videos that'll cover everything from legs, upper body, abs and everything in between.

Popular fitness guru and youtuber Blogilates created this 14-Day Quarantine workout plan we think will have you gleefully sweating for the next 2 weeks of social distancing.

 

5. Amazon Prime!

Are you already an Amazon Prime member? If so, there are an array of workout videos available for you including Zumba classes and a 21-Day Transformation class.

 

6. At-Home Gym Memberships

If the idea of 800+ workouts Including strength, cardio, HIIT, dance, flexibility, and more, and ranging in length from 15-55 minutes sounds intriguing to you, it might be time to check out LesMills. Many of their classes are equipment free, and after the 30 day free-trial, the monthly membership is $14.99 a month or $11.99 a month with a three-month commitment.
